Cliff Lawson

M. Photog., Cr., CPP

Cliff took up photography seriously in 2003 after he retired. He started doing professional work with Swim meets in 2004 and then with high school seniors in 2006. He joined the PPA and PPC in 2007. About that time he realized his real passion was portrait photography. He stuck with the swim photography until 2011 When his knees told him that 6 hours of crouching and standing was too much. Since then he has concentrated on high school seniors, families and corporate headshots. He began a personal project of making portraits of military veterans in 2017 and that project continues to this day.

Thanked to the doc and PPA, he has become a CPP, as well as the degrees Mater of Photography and Photographic Craftsman. He is one of the engineers for the Image Critique Show because he has nothing better to do on Thursday nights.
